Case Study

2025 Truck Client Trial

The CL Hydrolyzer 1000 delivered a 26% fuel consumption reduction.

Reduce Fuel Consumption

Reduce Emissions

Reduce Maintenance Costs

In 2025, we tested our CL Hydrolyzer technology on a Truck diesel engine in a normal operation study. The first field tested engine was the Volvo 16litre, 600HP, EURO 5.

The CL Hydrolyzer 1000 delivered an average of 26% fuel consumption reduction. The pilot study also delivered a massive reduction in green house gas and particulate matter emissions.

Truck CL Hydrolyzer 1000 Test 2025 Trial: MAN tgx 26.540 Litres. D2676 Diesel Engine, 12419cc, EURO 5 Common Rail Diesel

During the 30-day normal operation study, our CL Hydrolyzer 1000 on-board hydrogen-injected system led to fuel usage decreases of 10 to 30%, with an average 24% reduction.

In addition to the fuel savings, the study also found a reduction in harmful exhaust emissions. CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) up to 24%, NOx (Nitrogen Oxides) up to 40%, CO (Carbon Monoxide) up to 89%, THC (Total Hydrocarbons) up to 73%.

Along with prolonged engine life, the CL Hydrolyzer 1000 system significantly reduces the frequency of engine maintenance, such as diesel particulate filter (if required) maintenance and replacement.

CL Hydrolyzer 1000 units deliver an off-the-shelf, fleet-wide solution for dramatic reductions in fuel consumption and engine emissions, with the lowest cost of transition of any alternative optimization ROI.

CL Hydrolyzer 1000 systems afford a no-risk, significant increase in operational efficiency. With CL Hydrolyzer, fuel and maintenance savings per diesel engine are often in excess of 20% per year, based on average operating hours. The ROI is typically only 12 to 18 months, while lease to buy options usually deliver immediate positive impact to the customer’s bottom line.
